If you're a professional writer the last thing you want is to be annoyed by a complicated text editor with which to write your works.

BookWrite may be the tool you need. This simple, minimalist text editor offers the perfect working environment to produce novels, short stories and other professional works of literature.

The interface in BookWrite has been specially adapted to help you with your work. It features a really plain design, with almost no extra features except for some basic menu buttons. If you open it full screen, you'll be able to concentrate on your work without being distracted by other windows.

BookWrite lets you divide your text into chapters and export it, though only to TXT format. The program also supports keyboard combinations for most functions, which makes it even easier to use.

On the downside, the program is too basic in its functions. It has problems dealing with line breaks and it doesn't feature an "undo" option, to mention just two examples.

If you're a writer in search of a proper editor for your works, BookWrite may be the application you need.
